Flying Instructor

A Flying Instructor is responsible for teaching aspiring pilots how to operate an aircraft safely and effectively. They must have a comprehensive understanding of aviation theory and practice, as well as exceptional teaching skills. The job requires working with students one-on-one or in groups, creating and delivering lesson plans, and assessing student progress.


Tasks:

  • Develop and deliver lesson plans for flight training courses.
  • Demonstrate flight techniques and manoeuvres to students.
  • Provide feedback and evaluate student progress.
  • Administer written and practical exams to assess student knowledge and skill level.
  • Monitor weather conditions and other factors that may affect flight safety.
  • Stay up to date with changes in aviation regulations and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and training activities.
